Installation Note 37668: An MITController message appears when you apply SAS® 9.2 maintenance

When you apply SAS 9.2 maintenance, the following error message might appear:
[108670] MITController : An error occurred during processing: [108670] MITController : There is a problem with the package being installed: Error extracting file entry eclipse/plugins/sas.launcher.jar from zip [108670] MITController : com.sas.tools.maint.mit.InstallException: Error extracting file entry eclipse/plugins/sas.launcher.jar from zip at com.sas.tools.maint.mit.tasks.ZipExtractor.handleExtraction (ZipExtractor.java:580) at com.sas.tools.maint.mit.tasks.ZipExtractor.handleEntryData (ZipExtractor.java:427)
The error message appears because a file that is needed by the maintenance update process is in use by another process.
To resolve this issue, terminate all SAS sessions, daemons, spawners, and servers. For more information about terminating these processes, see How to Install the Second Maintenance Release for SAS 9.2.
